Flipping the page is like a kiss!
They—the national representatives of Germany and Turkey—had been meeting up for lunch after the usual meetings for a few months in a row now after that first initial run-in they’d had when the German had been near desperate to find a quiet space to eat in peace, and as a rule if they wanted to have some idle chatter would eating lunch, they stayed away from potentially negative conversational topics such as the state of the economy, the current events in the news that were less than pleasant, and anything else that fell under that umbrella.
It had, of course, been a bit awkward at first, but as they found out later, they had a few things in common. They both enjoyed baking, dogs, and coffee in addition to some other things like starting their workouts early in the morning, but Sadik was more of a runner whereas Ludwig participated in several forms of general exercise. Another difference was the fact Ludwig had to work out more than Sadik himself did—five times a week for the German versus the Turk’s three which also attributed to their body types and diets. Though there was yet another factor—Ludwig really didn’t have any extracurricular activity despite Gilbert’s attempts to find him something fun to do, but Sadik danced. He danced well—very well from the videos.
Ludwig cleared his throat aloud just remembering the video he had watched on Sadik’s phone. In addition to the fact that even male belly dancers seemed so show a lot of skin—the front and back of their upper torso and legs depending on what was worn on the bottom—they way they moved their hips... The way Sadik moved his hips ... was just as entrancing if not more than a woman’s. What’s more was that men were the original dancer in Turkey, and what a flirtatious way of dancing it was—! If he had not seen it for himself, how positively dazzling Sadik looked dressed up with a completely bare face, he would have never had known that it was him, but some handsome stranger.
“What’s wrong, Ludwig?” Sadik asked, rich tones pulling the blonde from his thoughts. “You’re looking flushed.”
“Oh,” Ludwig replied dumbly, but then cleared his throat once more. “I—I was just thinking about how skilled you are at dancing. It’s, well, it’s also very beautiful. I’m still surprised that men can move like that.”
“You’re surprised that men can move in such a sexy way, right? You can say it. It’s a very flirty, too.”
Ludwig bit into his bratwurst with a shy nod.
“It’s all in the hips a—“
“You—you have beautiful hips.”
It was then that the conversation fell flat as the masked Turk seemed to stare at the rapidly reddening German.
“I—I’m sorry! I wanted to say so earlier—the first time I saw the video, but I didn’t think it was too appropriate at the time.”
“Are you doing anything later then?”
“Later? I—no. Gilbert will be out though. He’s going to a concert with France and Spain.”
“Let me take you out then. We’ll have fun.”
“Well... State of dress?”
“Causal, and I’ll pick you up for eight o’clock.”
“Yes, o—of course.”
It wasn’t long before Ludwig busied himself with continuing to eat his lunch much to the amusement of his masked companion.
So Germany and Turkey going for a date. Ludwig: So how about a Candlelight Dinner? Sadiq: You mean Candlelight Döner and yes I'd like that.
I'm in for a GerTurk Kebab House AU Imagine Ludwig being one of those hipsters, who actualy only eats döner when he is drunk, talking to Sadik the handsome Dönermann and Sadik falling in love with him after Ludwig orders 'Döner mit alles extra scharf'
