Ight, so I just found out about GG's little thing that they did to Grumbot and I, in my infernal and infinite wisdom, decided to throw in my own two cents. I might make a longer post later on to explain my points better, but idk. And please, for the love of whatever god you believe in, DO NOT HARASS THE GET GORGEOUS TEAM. While I might say some harsh things about them in the post, I will not condone any harassment against any of them.

I am not fully informed on the situation and thus I may get details wrong. I am also look at this from an in-universe point of view. Meaning that I'm going off of lore rather then irl stuff.

Moving along, it's time for some context regarding what happened. From what I can tell, team GG pulled a "prank" on the MFM team by effectively vandalizing Grumbot. This is pretty rudimentary in terms of pranks, and under the usual circumstances I wouldn't be making this post. But there's something that kinda ruins the whole "fun and games" bit.

Grumbot

Is

Sentient.

Grumbot is intelligent, is aware of their surroundings, and has the capacity for human like reactions. They call Grian and Mumbo their dads, they show remorse/grief for being the cause of Button's death, and they have the most human quality of them all; greed.

Team GG did that shit to a sentient being. That isn't just a prank, that's hurting someone. Which, if y'all didn't know, is against the prank guidelines and yes, there are guidelines for pranks. I'll honestly be surprised if this doesn't cost them their entire campaign. This isn't something that you can just do, this is something that you shouldn't just do. It's a downright scummy thing to do to someone, and it shouldn't be taken as lightly as I've seen.

But, if I had to be completely honest about where I see this is going, I'd say that team GG and team MFM are collaborating irl for a mini story-arch about Grumbot's sentients ala the Star Trek TNG episode "Measure of a Man" with a trail and what not. Might last one or two episodes, ultimately ending with Grumbot being determined to be sentient/human and the perpetrators facing some form of punishment for what they did like a fine or something, idfk.
