the joshler moral panic always comes up again and again and again despite the fact the band actively join in w the fanbase on making silly jokes and references and have multiple times said they don't care

because people generally get up in arms about something they find yucky or distasteful before asking the opinions of the actual people involved

if disgust is ur primary motivator to doing or saying something, it's just not a good basis and can be dismissed out of hand. there's definitely good reasons to be mindful and respectful when talking ab rpf, but like, generally speaking if the people involved either don't care/are in on it/actively encourage it then it's not as big of a problem as people like to think that it is.

if people care about consent, let it be up to the people involved. let people say yes, even when it disgusts you lol
