There is such a contrast between these two voices throughout the book, and you can almost see their philosophies on life at war within Boba and how he conducts himself.

Aurra was his first real introduction to the hard and cruel life of a bounty hunter, and what that really means. We see him cringe away from violence in the early seasons of Clone Wars, often to his detriment and Aurra's fierce scolding.

Aurra's comments carry an almost consistent tone of derision and mockery toward the Mandalorians, Jango's people. His father's people.

Honda Ohnaka has a simular air of dismissal toward the True Mandalorians and their ways of life, but it never feels as vindictive as Aurra. He seems to respect them even if its not his idea of fun.

Honda may have had more of an influence on Boba then I would have initially given him credit for. He really does represent the good life. He plays hard and lives large, he enjoys himself. Certainly in a way the noble Jango never did, but especially compared to the spiteful life that Aurra leads.

When Boba becomes daimyo later on Tattooine, I can imagine Hondo ever present in the back of Boba's mind. Now that was a leader who knew how to live the good life. Hondo still worked hard and did his job, but the shots he called were his own, and at least he got to kick his boots up at the end of the day.

Perhaps this helped inspire some of Boba's change of outlook in the Book of Boba Fett? I like to think so, I think Hondo would be proud.
