I learnt a lot about myself this year; about who I am and what I’m not; about my strengths that make me the unique and wonderful human being that I am, and the flaws that I can work towards correcting going forward. And Unus Annus has been a great comfort in some of my darkest hours this year.
Mark was right when he said there was no way that any of us could have planned for this year - no way to know what new trials and tribulations each day was going to bring, but knowing that no matter what and without fail there would always be a new video to watch at the end of the day was an absloute godsend.
At the end of the day we only get one life on this planet, and the time we have is fleeting. Unus Annus has taught me that it’s okay to embrace the inevitable end, and to live each day not as though it may be my last, but with a passion and zest for life that I don’t think I had before now.
It’s okay to let go. We have to let go. It’s time to say goodbye.
Momento mori, friends. Unus Annus.
