Best Cheap Pressure Washer?

So I am in the market for a cheap pressure washer, apparently. My girl says she wants one and since I mentioned that I wouldn't mind one for washing dirt bikes off at home, it is now my birthday present. Hers too though so it isn't a huge loss. Anyway. I was originally thinking that one of those cheap electric washers (under $100) but I have yet to find one that doesn't have 20 reviews saying how it didn't last a year before dying. This isn't acceptable.

So I am setting a soft limit of $400 dollars and want to know who makes the best washer in the low price category. I have researched Campbell H, Karcher, and some others with very little success. What say the group mind??

Removing Cat Urine Odor From Carpets

Before we start our cat urine odor removal and neutralization process, let’s first make sure you have all of the tools you might need.

Favorite Cat Urine Enzyme Order Remover

A large, industrial Syringe (Not the Type Used On Humans…Much Larger!)

A 16 oz. Spray Bottle filled with the above Enzyme Cleanser

Assuming you’ve found all the places where you cat urinated, start with the most recent spot, since the odor elimination process is more effective.

Once you’ve found your spot, begin by injecting about 4 oz of your cat odor enzyme eliminator directly under the carpet. Be sure that you’ve pierced the surface of the carpet and are spraying the cleaner in between the carpet and the pad beneath it. This is important, because if you only clean the carpet and not the carpet pad, then the smell of cat urine will only get worse over time.

After you’ve semi-soaked the area under the spot, it’s time to remove the cat urine odor from the carpet its self.  With your cat urine enzyme cleaner, soak the effected area with the spray bottle. 

You want to make sure the cleaner touches each individual fiber that could have possibly been in contact with the cat’s urine. As a result, I find that it’s good to add about a 4-inch ring of enzyme cleaner around whatever area of the carpet you think has cat urine in it.

Once you’ve gone through this process, it’s important to repeat the process in a few days, even if the carpet no longer smells like cat urine. It takes several days for the enzymes to take full effect, and the bacteria causing the odor of cat urine are very resilient.

What if the Urine Odor or Stain Is Old?

Enzymatic cleaners only work on fresh urine, but if time has passed or if other cleansers were already used on the stain, you should use the homemade cleanser I describe in this article.

Which Products and Ingredients Work to Remove Sour Odor Smells?

White vinegar is great to get rid of some odors, though it isn't always effective against cat and dog pee. Used straight from the bottle or diluted with water, white vinegar will help neutralize pet urine odors, and it won't leave behind a sour vinegar smell.

Dyson Ball Animal 2 vs Shark Rotator Professional Liftaway For Pet Hair - Getcleaningdone Reviews

I am ready for a big girl vacuum and have always wanted a Dyson. They are pretty pricey but are well known for being great quality. The more I look at them, the more I see the Shark vacuum pop up. 

They seem pretty similar, but the Shark is quite a bit cheaper. I'm looking for long term and if investing in a Dyson is going to save me money over the course of years I don't mind spending the money.

You’d be hard-pressed to find any “Best Pet Vacuums” list that doesn’t include a Shark or Dyson vacuum (or both)!

There are plenty of other companies that share the pet hair vacuum market, yet these two names inevitably pop up at any mention of pet vacuums. The two companies often seem at odds, both wrestling for control over the same market space.

Dyson is generally known as a standard among high-end vacuums. The company justifies their high prices by asserting they offer superior cleaning performance. Dyson famously makes the claim that their products have twice the suction of other vacuums.

Shark is a smaller company, and often attempts to edge into Dyson’s customer base by arguing that their vacuums offer similar (if not better) performance—but at almost half the cost.

But beyond the marketing, what’s the real difference between the two?

We wanted to compare the two most popular brands in pet vacuums head to head, to see how both brands measure up as a whole. By weighing the strengths and weaknesses of similar models from the two companies, we hope to extract the truth about real-world performance.

We also considered other important qualities in a good pet vacuum, including operation, effectiveness at picking up pet hair, and filtration.

Best Upright Vacuums For Pet Hair:

Dyson Ball Animal 2 vs. Shark Rotator Professional Liftaway

The Dyson Ball Multi Floor (formerly the DC65) is a bagless, upright vacuum that features Dyson’s unique “ball” technology.

The body of the vacuum pivots on top of a ball shape, creating a tighter turning radius for improved maneuverability.

The Multi Floor has a few other interesting features that can make your vacuuming regimen a bit easier. It features a self-adjusting base plate, which automatically changes the height of the vacuum head to adapt to the floor type. This allows users to vacuum continuously across carpet and hardwood surfaces without stopping.

Dyson’s “Radial Root Cyclone” technology is another prominent feature of this vacuum, located on top of the dust canister. This apparatus is designed to attract fine dust particles and help the airflow in the vacuum move more efficiently.

The Professional Rotator Lift Away from Shark is also a bagless, upright vacuum with a forward-thinking design.

The hallmark of this vacuum is the “lift-away” feature. The canister and wand detach from the body of the vacuum, transforming into a more portable canister-style model.
