[What's one of the toughest challenges in RPing as Garrus?]

((Hmm. Well, I have a hard time talking to people sometimes. I mean, he knows the squad, and has known most of them for years. The only person keeping Garrus from communicating with other squad members is me. Some of them...I'll just watch and never talk to because I'm a weenie. I don't ever lose my muse or anything like that, it's just me that's the problem.

Garrus doesn't really seem to have the same sort of attitude that I have, and he seems to talk to anyone that will listen, even those who won't. I'm shy around people that I don't know, so it's hard to make him NOT like that.

I'm also afraid to reply to open RPs because I'm afraid that my response will not be what they wanted.

Okay, sir, I know you want these by the book, important details first, but... I can't figure Boo out. She's female, but... age? Race? I can't say. She's an anon, but one with a name. She does magic, but uses it mainly to undo malevolent magic. I kind of felt connected to her, you know. Being one of a species (or whatever) that is mostly disliked or at the best tolerated by everyone else. Trying to prove people's conceptions based on what you are aren't always correct about who you are. She's much more successful at it than I am. She has many admirers... I'm kinda jealous. Oh, and I want her cape, too.

Remember how I said I'm bad at talking to geth? Well, you might as well broaden that to include all synthetics. EDI's the AI of the Normandy, so I thought maybe I could play it cool, you know, and try and get some intel on Shepard or at least the Normandy's movements or something. All I ended up doing was sort of asking about the commander, getting cold feet, and buying off any suspicions with a purple stuffed toy. Huh, that's something. What would a synthetic want with something soft and cuddly?

Okay, okay. We've got like a severe security breach here. The Dalatrass knows about you. Well, she knows your codename, and that I write these reports to you. I've started triple-encoding my drafts, and I don't keep anything on my omnitool, just like you said... but... she keeps getting hold of them somehow. She might even be reading this right now. She tried to throw me by telling me all these lies about the Hegemony being destroyed and... I don't know what to do, sir. Please, tell me what to do.

Managed to get in an argument with this geth, Delta, in no time flat. Guess the odds were good, though; it said its straight-to-the-point way of speaking resulted in conflict 67 percent of the time or something. I think it's in on the Dalatrass's plan to spread lies about the Hegemony being defunct--it kept trying to convince me that Khar'shan had been attacked. Which isn't true, I mean, right? ...of course. I managed to turn the tables on it by pointing out how illogical its actions are and how it acts more like an organic than it thinks it does. That's one for my resume, sir: I can outlogic a machine.

This geth doesn't even have a designation. Just a number, 343. And I think I might have offended it when I suggested giving it a nickname. ...You know, if geth can get offended. I don't even know if they can, though. Sounds like a good experiment, actually. After all, if anyone can truly offend a geth, it's probably me.

Krogans are really not as scary as you told me they'd be. I mean, yeah, Wrex could crush me as soon as blink at me, but I get the feeling he wouldn't, not if I didn't give him a reason. He admitted to disliking batarians as a whole--probably on account of the propaganda and lies the council puts out, again--but he was perfectly polite to me. He's not at all the violent, barbaric "tribe chief" I was told to expect. Just a boss-guy trying to look out for his people.

I'm still keeping an eye on the major, sir, just like I said. He has groups of people over to his home rather often, and so sometimes I sneak in to see what all they're doing. I feel like he's got some important work he's doing, but he somehow keeps that part of his life separate from his personal life. What I mean is, he performs his duties, probably admirably, but he has time to spend with family and friends, too. ...Must be nice.

I don't really know what to make of this one, either. It/He talks a little like a synthetic, but... I think it's human? Not sure. He made some kind of joke about my codename, but I didn't understand it. I need to get the text he recommended and try to learn some more human idioms and expressions. It'll probably help a lot with gathering intelligence.
