Chipping away on a Sunday

I’ve been chipping away at a whole bunch of little jobs that have been neglected of late. Last night when I was home alone watching the teev, I’d pop up & get something done in my get-butt-off-couch breaks. I was even kind enough to wash & anti-bacterial soak The Husbs mouldering bidons (this is why clubathletica & I insist on named drink bottles - he never cleans his immediately after a ride). He & The Boy are the toaster-users & it was looking gross too so I cleaned that - removed maybe a ton of burnt bread.

Yesterday I even washed cushion covers! The place is looking delightfully clean & tidy and I’m enjoying that sense of harmony that clear space & order bring until Rob arrives home from offshore with his bags of gear, dirty laundry & more drink bottles to spoil it!

I am not expecting any of my family to turn up before the afternoon so I shall continue to peacefully get things done (including my own laundry). I promised the dog a walk & myself those deadlifts & squats I did not get to on Thursday. Then there is nothing for but to finally do the grocery shopping.
