Great Global Greyhound Walk 2018! We had 12 hounds altogether and the weather cooperated nicely for our 3 mile walk. It was overcast and rainy though Rogue felt the humidity was too high for his liking. Here is a group photo, a photo of Rogue being used as a headrest, and chilling after the walk. :) @joejoetheracer!

GALTx eNews: Join The Great Global Greyhound Walk! Please join us in Dallas, Austin, or Albuquerque on June 10th, 2018, for the Great Global Greyhound Walk! The Great Global Greyhound Walk is an annual dog-walking event that brings together greyhounds, lurchers, other sighthounds and their owners to raise awareness of the breeds and show the public just what wonderful pets they make. The 2017 walk broke records for participation and we want to help break them again this year! 

The walks are open to everyone regardless of where you got your hound or whether you even have a hound. You don't have to join anything, register anywhere or book in advance but we hope that you will register so that your participation can be counted and so that we know you're coming! Our Dallas walkers will meet at the Heritage Park Pavilion at the Botanical Gardens in Grapevine between 9:30 and 10:00 am. Our Austin walkers will meet in front of the pavilion at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville. They will start walking at 9:00 am, so please be a few minutes early. And please click here to RSVP for the Austin walk as our Austin team needs an accurate head count! Our Albuquerque walkers will meet in Hyder Park between 9:00 and 10:00 am. Any snootblrs going on a Great Global Greyhound walk tomorrow? 🙂 Our closest one is an hour’s drive away so probably we won’t, as I could do with a lazy Sunday. Plus I think it’ll be mad with horseflies!
