EVIL HAT GOING DOWN!!!
Get your asses in here NOW! New operation to report Evil Hat to the FTC!
THE STORY
The /tg/-goers among us may know it better, but several months ago, a small outfit called Postmortem Studios released a card game called "Gamergate: the Card Game." The online store, DriveThruRPG, picked it up, and, as it turns out, this triggered Evil Hat Productions employees something fierce, so a number among them (Chris Hanrahan, Brian Engard, Daniel Solis) complained to DTRPG to stop carrying the card game with Brian Engard and Chris Hanrahan in particular threatening to pull Evil Hat products from the store if they did not remove the card game. Since FATE and other assorted Evil Hat productions are a much bigger moneymaker than than the GG card game, it came to no surprise that DTRPG pussied out and removed the product.

THE PUNCHLINE
Evil Hat Productions, like many SJWs, is oblivious of the fact that blacklisting people you don't like and threatening others not to deal with them can be pretty fucking illegal depending on the circumstances. In particular, this falls cleanly under FTC's anticompetitive practices list for a single-firm conduct "refusal to deal" violation. Considering how Evil Hat sells their own card game products, Postmortem Studios is a clear direct competitor and therefore this constitutes an attempt to monopolize by way of curtailing a competitor's market access.

LETS DO THIS!
SPJAirplay is over, now it's time for the next stage: Reach out and connect with reporters to spread our story.
It's time to get personal
Each and every one of us can contact a journalist, someone covering technology or games or the media, and talk to them individually.
Write, email, tweet to an individual journalist, find them and talk to them directly and personally:
"I'm sure you've heard of the bomb threat at the Society of Professional Journalism, I've been involved in Gamergate for the last year, and I can give you background information about what is going on. I'd love to fill you in on this complicated topic"
Tell them something about yourself, tell them what you've been involved with, tell them where they can find information.
Sargon of Akkad:
Well, this saves me the Twitlonger I was writing out.
I 100% agree with this. Take the bomb threat to the Society of Professional Journalists over #GamerGate and introduce yourselves to an individual journalist by name over email/twitter, and offer to explain #GamerGate from the inside.
Make sure you use existing articles to make sure they know that other journalists are taking this seriously, like this: http://risemiaminews.com/2015/08/breaking-gamer-gate-controversy-prompts-evacuation-of-koubek-center-in-miami/
Don't swamp individuals, so make it known who you are going to contact and vet it first to ensure someone doesn't have information you need.
This was a great victory, let's consolidate this gain while the opposition have no workable narrative against it.
We owe Koretzky a debt of gratitude for giving us the opportunity.
