It was so obvious!
As I alluded to last week, I am going to lead a WoD Gheist game set in 1920's New York and I've been struggling to come up with a plot.
For those that don't know, Gheist is a branch of the World of Darkness roleplaying game that centers around ghosts and spirits. I set it in the above mentioned time and place because rum is an important component in a lot of Gheist dealings and rituals, so I thought it would be funny to run it during the prohibition ;P
Anyway, though I have done a fair share of world building, I always struggle with plot. Now I'm sure this was obvious for a lot of you, I was listening to top 20 lists on YouTube when one about haunted sites popped up and I though to myself; It's obvious! There's a lot of material out there already, I just have to look up famous hauntings, pick the good ones and string them together somehow! Brilliant!
There's a lot of hotels and theatres it seems, I've collected a few interesting ones already, but if anyone has some good hauntings dating back to before 1928, feel free to share :)
