Ghibli Inktober Day #1: Favorite Character

i’ve adored haku since i was a little kid and honestly, it’s super gratifying now to go back and be able to draw him properly the way i want to after all these years. this was especially relaxing to do after mostly doing professional work for a few weeks, so a little break for myself to draw something intricate for myself has been wonderful. 

this took about four hours, all digital work on medibang paint pro. i’m planning on following @susuwatori‘s prompts this year, and i’m really, really excited for all of them!
