Vallaslin Designs

I said I’d do a set of my vallaslin designs and make some .psd files in case anyone wanted to use them for their own Dalish or Ancient Elves so here we go! I drew one of my Ancient Elf OC’s, Vhalen, to model them all. 

*Fen’Sulahn: The Howling Wolf, whose mournful cry spelled the fate for Ancient Elvhenan in all its forms. Based off of the Fen’Harel vallaslin mod by blekarotva. 

*Ghilan’eth: The Safe Guide, whose star guides the People through danger. Alternate aspect of The Guide/Ghilan’nain.

*Daern’thal: The Dream Weaver, who melds the Dreaming to his will, rumored patron god of the first somniari. One of the known Forgotten Ones.

*Henne’thel: The Storyteller, who collected the songs and stories of the people and kept them safe and close. One of the Forgotten Ones. Her vallaslin is based on the pipa instrument.

*Melarue: The Cunning One, who tricked the Evanuris and who honors cunning and resourcefullness. One of the Forgotten Ones.

Here’s a piece I’ve been working on for...months now. And I finally finished! I was having some doubts about Ghilan’eth and how much people enjoyed her, but everyone’s recent interest in her continued story made me happy and inspired me to finish the piece. And I’m certainly glad I did! So have some sad Ghilan’eth. XD

Ok but Olwyn’s name is literally that of an ancient Welsh character who, when she walked bcause she was so delicate, left white flowers in her wake. So now I’m just imagine that’s what happens when she goes barefoot. 

But the Guide’s feet are so sensitive that she bleeds when she walks barefoot, or so the legends say, and from the blood springs forth white flowers, that make pathways to safety. If one finds a trail of white flowers, one knows that this is ground the Guide has trod upon, and that at the end of the path there will be protection.

Oh hey look, Olwyn’s a dragon! Was having fun thinking of what kind of a dragon Olwyn would shift into as Ghilan’eth and...here we have it! I might do one for Melarue at some point.
