>If Ghoore didn't have a reputation to uphold and trolls to take care of, he would've burned the whole circus to the ground upon stepping within 100 feet of the place. He held no loyalty to the place, he didn't care about the other trolls inside. He wanted it gone.
>But he had a job to do, and a daughter to find.
>He didn't even approach the booth or the big top, he wasn't interested in a trip down memory lane. When Coulro's trailer was in sight, he had his destination. His fingertips seared with repressed rage the closer he got to the trailer, ears pinned back against his head and jaw clenched. He had taken medicine to calm himself prior to making this trip, a depressant to lessen the chance of him making a grave mistake, but the weighted blanket dulling his emotions rapidly started to tear and fall away as he approached.
>He took the last few steps towards the door, and took a deep breath, pounding on the door with force that rocked the trailer before shoving his hands into his pockets to prevent him from strangling the clown upon first sighting.
>It would be the first time he's seen Coulro in sweeps, he hadn't processed that yet and he didnt want to. He waited patiently for the door to open all the same, tail swaying idly and pupils as thin as a needle.
Ghoore's ears shot upward, purple eyes darting to his office door and then to his scantily clad partner. Sitting on his lap and in the midst of unbuttoning his shirt, he quirked an eyebrow, glossed lips opening to speak before being shushed.
"Just a moment." Ghoore didn't need to yell for his voice to carry past the mahogany door. He looked around the office for a robe or covering for Jin, only finding clothes hastily discarded around his desk.
Knock Knock Knock.
"Yes, I heard, just one moment please!" He repeated with more inflection in his voice. Ghoore’s hands moved to Jin's waist, lifting him like a doll and tucking him under his desk.
"Hey-"
"Shut up." He hissed as he pushed Jin further under with his leg, not without a few annoyed tail flicks from both parties and an admittedly cute pout from the pink blood.
Knock Knock Knock Knock Knock.
The knocks felt more anxious, panicked, increasing in force and speed as the barrage continued on the door. His lips upturned into a snarl as he swept lonely clothes garments behind and under his desk with his tail. He opened a drawer and swept the money and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia into it, forcing it shut with a few hundred caeger bills sticking out.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK-
“Come in!” He finally yelled, exasperated, irritated, and frustrated at this entire situation. Before he could even finish his invitation a lanky fuchsia wearing a shirt five sizes too big and baggy gym shorts basically kicked the door wide open. Eyes wide, fins flared, and long dreads chaotically wrapped up in a silk cerulean scarf, a menagerie of words fell from his lips accompanied by hand motions to assist in his explanation.
“Ghoore- GHOORE, you told me to keep tabs on your kid, right? Well, fuck! Fuck! Uhhhh her cell phone last pinged from her apartment about twelve hours ago and it’s been dead silent since! And the guys you got on the ground just notified me that they saw a guy standing outside her door and he went inside and-”
“Booker, back up, slow down, what are you telling me exactly?” On the surface Ghoore’s voice was monotone and professional. Bubbling underneath was a vulnerability only Jin had heard before. Vulnerability that was previously laced with the burn of liquor on a sunday morning and never heard again until now. He reached out a manicured hand to delicately place on Ghoore’s knee, still hidden by the desk. It was a comforting gesture that was not acknowledged as Ghoore listened with an unblinking gaze.
“Aemvee is gone! A man- A man about seven feet tall and long long long hair, clown paint and a weird get-up, he went into Aemvee’s apartment and left with her and he hasn’t been seen or accounted for since! The guys tried to tail the weirdo but lost him in the backstreets but they got a picture of the car and the man who-”
“Show me.”
Bablon produced two glossy printed photos from his pocket, postcard sized and slightly crumpled. He yelped as Ghoore’s clawed hand yanked them away.
It was him.
His back was towards the camera when the photo was taken but if the horns didn’t give him away, the ebony hair cut in choppy layers sure did. Ghoore didn’t need to see the car or his face to know it was none other than Coulro, a troll he had given his loyalty, friendship, companionship to in the very distant past… Why was he back now? How did he know where Aemvee was?
“I don’t have m-” Bablon started to speak, voice quieter and anxious as he saw Ghoore’s brows furrow and ears pin to the sides of his head, lips peeling back to reveal gritted teeth.
“Get out.”
“Huh?”
“GET OUT!” A stress crack splintered through the ironwood, balled fists slamming downward like a hammer, the sound eliciting a squeak from Jin as he lurched forward to hug Ghoore’s leg tight, the feeling of his tiny body doing little to quell his partner's anger. Bablon didn’t need to be told a third time, turning on his heel and uttering a quick ‘bye’ before closing the door behind him.
A grief ridden scream echoed throughout the third floor of the club, the walls and door doing little to dampen the outcry of a distraught father.
Ghoore is the owner of The Nine Lives. Standing 3 stories tall and taking up an entire city block, it’s one of the most successful nightclub enterprises to settle itself in the city. Pink-purple neon lights and the attractive corner girls(and guys, etc.) draw in both tourists and residents of the city alike.
Leaving the circus to kickstart his new life didn’t come easy. While making his escape he had to leave behind his adopted child Aemvee, unable to take the risk of any harm coming to her if he got caught. If you ask him, he got into the business to give his child a good life upon her escape.
Odd... I wonder why Aemvee is important to mention here? (Aemvee belongs to @lunchboxtrolls)
Svetos, long before he would adopt the working name 'Svedka', was Ghoore's companion for this rainy night. He had picked him up at a bar in a car with tinted windows. A promise of drink and a thick stack of caeger bills made most men hop into the car without a second thought. Svetos was no exception, though he would've gotten into the car free of charge to get out of the rain. Water drenched his faux fur coat and stuck blond strands of hair to his face, making him look something akin to a pomeranian fresh out of a bath.
Ghoore didn't need to buy sex. He had plenty of willing men at his fingertips but a whirlwind of excess and indulgence encapsulated him, giving a deep craving for new experiences. Newfound freedom and access to money quickly got to his head once he started working for Visale. He recalled being warned of this, but was it really such a bad thing?
He had control of himself, of course he did.
The experience was disappointing, the effeminate man much too touchy and affectionate for his tastes. As soon as he was sure his guest was asleep, he left Svetos alone in bed to sleep off the tequila and gin tucked in heavy blankets. He'd call a cab in the morning for him, that was the plan at least. That was before he turned on the television in the living room and made himself comfortable on the couch. That was before he heard the soft sound of bare feet on the carpet creaking the floorboards beneath. Unbeknownst to either of them at the time, the next time Svetos would see the lights of the bustling city up close was in 8 months and 3 days.
"Heyyy hot stuff~ come back to bed… I'm so lonely…" The bleach blond figure creeped up from the corners of his vision and climbed into his lap, a whip of thunder cracking above as a warm hand ran up his chest and cradled his bearded face; Lips smeared with scarlet pressed themselves to his neck, the closeness filling his nose with the smell of cheap liquor, vanilla, melted hairspray, sex and sweat. His hair was still damp from the minutes he spent outside before getting into Ghoore's car.
"Not now." He dismissed the cerulean with a shove, sending him to the carpet at his feet with a cushioned thud. Purple eyes remained transfixed on the television.
That didn't stop manicured hands from climbing up his legs like ivy, nails digging into his thighs as he pulled himself upward and situated himself between his legs.
"C'mon kitty… play with me again…" Svetos pouted, batting his long lashes hoping he could be the center of Ghoore's attention once more. A throaty growl and a hostile flick of his tail was permission to proceed, Svetos thought, a misjudgement brought on by more than a few too many drinks.
Ghoore's reaction was unconcious.
His hand was firm around the thin neck of the other, pulse quickening under his fingertips as he squeezed and yanked him upward. Pale legs flailed to plant themselves on some sort of solid ground, blue claws raked down the hairy arm of the assailant. The body they belonged to twisted, writhed, all were attempts to escape the iron lock of Ghoore's hand.
"Play with you? Are you some sort of toy?" Tuffed ears flicked upward in renewed intrest. Even in his inebriated state Svetos knew he had the spotlight once more. Now he had to keep it. He needed it. He felt Ghoore's disappointment before he drifted to sleep, and the discomfort and unfamiliarity made him wake easy.
So he nodded, eyebrows knitting together and lips smeared with scarlet opening to gasp for air, cerulean eyes becoming glossy with tears but the expression salacious.
"Are you my toy?"
"Yes!" Svedka was brought back to the present by a tug on his arm, eyes meeting bright bronze ones instead of purple ones illuminated by lightning strikes, "Sorry... What was the question?"
"I asked you how you and Ghoore met! C'mon, Svedy, keep up!" Marshi teased, smile bright like the marshmallows floating in her mug of cocoa. Like the marshmallows as well, Svedka felt himself melting into the dark warmth of the memory.
"We met at a bar, a long time ago... Ghoore remembers that night much better than me."
I'm very happily taken and I'm not looking for any other quads. I don't have the time.
>You recall hearing about a dainty pinkblood with an eyepatch named 'Jin' who is frequently seen at his hip or sitting in his lap. Rumors are he stopped working at the club full time after becoming involved with Ghoore, but whether or not it was initially willing is something highly debated.
Anyways hiiiii Ghoore !!! Have you talked to Aemvee recently? Like, very recently? No reason, just. Curious
>He takes a deep breath and averts his gaze... he stays silent for a long while.
... Aemvee and I... are in a tough spot right now. You could say we're estranged at the moment... I haven't talked to her face to face in years. 3... almost 4 at this point. Not of my own choice... his own. He's an adult, he can make his own decisions... It still hurts. She's still my little sunshine...
I still send her money. Lots of it... I know it wont make things better, but I want to make sure that he never is in a place where he can't afford a good life. I keep tabs on her too... make sure she's not getting involved in the wrong crowd. Call it stalking, being paranoid... whatever, it's still my child. I'll do what I think is right.
I wasn't the most peaceful troll when I got my title. I was more violent and unrestrained. I've calmed down quite a bit since then, but I can't change the title I was given.
>Who does he think he's fooling? Peace is almost never an option with him, he's only gotten better at hiding it.
