Deceit speeds into Roman's potion room excitedly through the wall. "ROMAN!!! GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS!!!" "What day is it?" Roman replies, Hardly glancing up at Deceit in response. "IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!!!" Deceit shouts, doing a little twirl. "Ah." Roman says, pouring a purple liquid into his cauldron. "Aren't you gonna come celebrate with us?" "Nah, no thanks." Roman says, plopping in some powder into the cauldron. "Aw..." Deceit says, dissappointed. He walks away through the wall, leaving Roman to his work.
Deceit walks into the living room and sighs. "What's wrong?" Virgil, Roman's cat, asks. "It's Valentine's day and Roman is too busy with his potions to do anything special today." Deceit pouts. "That's nothing new. Before you showed up to haunt us Roman didn't really have anyone to celebrate holidays with. So he made due eith almost never celebrating them at all!"
Deceit gasped. "You mean you two haven't ever celebrated vALENTINE'S DAY?!?!" "Nope." "Well then I guess I'll have to show you what Valentine's day should be like!!!" Deceit say, beaming. He speeds off, leaving Virgil on the couch, who licks his paw tiredly. Suddenly Deceit speeds back into the living room with some decorations. "I'M BACK!!!" Virgil jumps off the couch in surprise and gives Deceit a short glare before looking at what he brought with him. "Valentine's day decorations!!!" Deceitn says, holding up the things he brought. "Come on, Let's hang them up!!!" Virgil shrugs and follows Deceit as he speeds into the kitchen.
"And, done!!!" Deceit says joyfully, looking at his and Virgil's work. "I'd say that was a job well done!" Virgil yawns and lays himself at Deceit's feet. "I need a nap." "No time for naps." Deceit says, stepping over Virgil. "If we're going to give Roman a great Valentine's day, we might as well go all out." "But we already put up all your decorations!" Virgil whined. "Yes we did, so you go take a break. I need to go make Roman some Heart shaped cookies." Deceit heads over to the fridge and Virgil walks over to the couch and plops himself onto it for a nap.
Deceit grabs his ingrediants, two pans, and a cookbook. And then he starts measuring the different ingredients and pouring them into the bowl. Once He's finished doing everything he needs to do to the dough, he cuts it into heart shapes and places them onto a pan. Then he sticks the pan into the oven and sets a timer for when the cookies'll be done.
Deceit pulls out the last pan from the oven and sniffs the cookies, which smell fantastic. He smiles and places some of the cookies on a plate and puts the plate on the countertop. He then speeds into Roman's potion room to go get Roman.
"Roman!!!" Deceit calls as he waltzes in through the wall. "Hello Deceit." Roman responds as he finishes pouring the contents of his cauldron into a glass vial. "I've got a surprise for you!!!" "What did you break?" "I didn't break anything this time! Trust me! Come on!!!" Deceit grabs Roman's arm and pulls him into the kitchen.
Roman looks at the kitchen in astonishmet. "Woah..." There's a string of paper hearts above the doorway, little heart shaped confetti was sprinkled across the countertops, a vase filled with red and white roses was sitting on the counter, and a plate of cookies was sitting right next to it. "Happy Valentine's day!!!" Deceit says, beaming. "Do you like it?" "Do I like it? It's amazing!!!" Roman says. "How did you do all of this?!" "You forget I'm a ghost. And the fact that you have a pretty resourceful cat as well. Virgil meows in response from the couch and Roman chuckles.
Roman walks over to the plate of cookies and takes one. He bites into it and smiles. "How does it taste?" "It's tastes amazing!!!" Roman respondes joyfully. He looks over at Deceit and Virgil, who just decided to come on in. "Thank you both so much for all this." "You're welcome!" Deceit Says. Virgil meows in response, which Roman takes as a 'You're welcome' as well.
The three of them sat at the counter and helped themselves to some cookies. And this year, Roman and Virgil Aren't spending their Valentine's day alone.
