Ghost Iris [6] did the best they could, but man a gig with doors opening at half 5 you’re gunna struggle to get a good amount of people in early I can only imagine what it was like for Stain The Canvas who I unfortunately missed. Their music was very fitting plenty to snap your neck to and they were extremely persistent and I think they got the best out of the crowd that was here, coming out in the crowd, really impressed at their approach to this just wish there was more folk in for them to reach.
Ain’t nobody out here having more fun that the Dropout Kings [9], that brand of “Trap Metal” was perfectly placed for a gig like tonight. Start to finish these guys are all over the place, robbing peoples glasses taking phones for selfies, it’s just a great vibe and a shit tonne of fun, I definitely wanna catch these guys again.
TheCityIsOurs [7] had a tough job following that, but you would never tell because they’re up there full of life and energy, living it up and it’s going down a treat. For me it’s bitter sweet because this was originally Our Hollow, Our Home’s spot before they had nearly all their members leave but these guys always know the assignment and are always great to catch live.
Attila [9] come out and the energy just changed, it’s like somebody lit the room on fire the pits are intense, the crowd are extremely vocal, everything’s just gone up a few notches. Their setlist is great, Fronzak’s vocals are superb live as well which I was looking forward to finding out. Hell a girl even threw her bra on the stage for Fronzak, which then became a set piece on the mic stand. It felt like it all ended abruptly is my 1 criticism, no encore, they just said bye and then the lights and music just came on which I wasn’t expecting but, overall a pretty good night.
🤘metal🤘warning 🚨 (additional snob warning: mixed vocals) 😆💀
