It's been a while since your post so you might've gotten an answer already about the brand new Dream situation™️ but in case not, I can try to summarize.
Connor talked briefly about George's sexual offence, with such reasonable points like
he should not have been in this situation in the first place! he's 27, he should know better
it's not surprising to Connor bc he's seen how dteam talks about women publicly and in private, and it's gross
they cultivate an audience of parasocial fans
they should not be telling said audience of impressionable young girls this sort of apologist stuff
he feels complicit for not speaking up earlier, but at the same time it's not his story to tell
Dream's response was his usual manipulative mess of not addressing the very fair criticisms about their behaviour, denying there's anything more going on behind the scene and personally attacking Connor for like... having been friendly with him in the past? I think?
He pointedly does not say anything about his audience or George's behaviour. To me, this feels like an intimidation tactic against anyone who does have a story to tell. And that's why I'm glad Connor is unbothered. Sophie, however, has had to private her account due to harassment.
I haven't followed the situation with her, but I know Dream has leaked dms (he did it with Connor too) and is misrepresenting her criticism of them by pointing to a game of among us (??). I hope she's okay
