Lore is basicallyyy, in an au that takes place 15 years after canon events, STYX decided to start experimenting with if it was possible to create biological offspring by taking two different people's DNA. Specifically, one or both individuals had to be someone who overblotted. At first many such tests failed, it didn't work at all at first and then when it did work, the infant would die within an hour or two. The first successful experiment involved Idia's own DNA mixed with the DNA of his husband, who volunteered for his DNA to be used because he was bored lol. Same impulsive Floyd as ever. But it was a success, the child lived and seems to be just fine. She's blind in one eye (left) and due to half of her DNA being from a merman, she has a human form by default but will start turning into a mermaid at random intervals, so he always keeps the same potions the Octavinelle trio uses to gain human forms on hand. 16 years later she's survived just fine and his parents spoil him with anything xe wants 💖

I'll definitely do more kids using this lore, though not all will necessarily be "ship" kids... some will be moreso just mashing two or three characters together because I felt like it
