in another topic I've seen around a lot too, I've had these thoughts on my mind for a while... y'see, people say that the good thing about ao3 is that it has no censorship, which I agree, bcus it's actually good to have a place where ppl can write what they want
but I think there are certain rules that should apply
for example, in a fandom I'm in, there's an ugly creep guy who has been "stealing" people's ocs and writing humiliation fics of them where the ocs get turned into a slave for his oc, involving r*pe scenarios even, just to "upset" ppl in the fandom (basically revenge porn bcus he's a far-r*ght jerk)... the owners of said ocs (including me bcus the guy also targeted me) have been reporting those to ao3, but they say that the guy is not breaking any rule... which is like... -insert grimace here-
like... if the owner of an original character, who's not even the creator of any media, didn't give permission for a story like that to be written about their character, ao3 should listen, idk
