My third & last piece for @hmosexymanzine, an obscure crossover piece for two obscure, black and white, animal-themed sexymen-candidates who are near and dear to my heart.
thinking about how the hanged man (XII) and death (XIII) are right next to each other. thinking about one as the end of the first past of the journey and the other as the beginning of the end. thinking of them as alter egos, matching pairs, complementaries. ambiguous suspension in time vs finality. struggles vs rebirth. hanged man as the uncertainty keeping your hands bound, death as the blade that cuts cleanly through the fog - yet is the very thing keeping the hanged man from acting with a clear mind. this post is about the van zieks siblings
