(I was looking for the "Hey Shitass" image of the chimp with a grenade, but this came up and seems apt.)
Duke
Icons.
snake eyes may be a skilled mercenary and assassin who knows how to kill a man with a grape and his own mustache in 7,423,498 ways but to assume that he doesnt stop to pet the cats he finds in alleyways while on missions? purposterous and outright incorrect.
GI Joe characters' social media accounts
Hawk: Does not understand how social media works. No profile picture. He confuses Facebook with Google, leading to the accidental posting of his search history.
Duke: Posts on Facebook very rarely. Friends with a few family members and that's it. Every few months he will share an article about one of his favorite sports teams signing a new player, followed by another long period of silence.
Shipwreck: Posts Instagram photos of himself shirtless on the beach. Followed by lots of attractive women who profess their love to him in the comment section.
Gung Ho: Frequently rants on Twitter about the government. Also rants about NFL referees making bad calls in New Orleans Saints games.
Beachhead: Posts workout videos and "no pain no gain"-type motivational quotes. Everyone sits down with popcorn to watch the drama unfold whenever he argues with Lifeline about the Second Amendment.
Wet-Suit: A certified meme-lord. Posts memes in bad taste, such as memes making fun of a celebrity right after that celebrity dies. Many of his memes are dark and edgy and imply he wants to kill himself, causing his friends to worry about his mental health, but it's just his depraved sense of humor.
Scarlett: Posts kitten and puppy videos, inspirational quotes, and pictures of places she wants to travel to, implying she's gone to those places without technically claiming to have done so. Occasionally goes on a mission trip and posts a picture of herself with children from the country she went to, captioned "I thought I would teach them, but they taught me".
This awesome teacher, Frank Donatelli, has been providing safe, in person classes for young students who are missing the most developmentally by not being able to be with their peers in person. Normally teaching extracurricular STEM classes and workshops, a lot of his work disappeared as larger learning environments went virtual. Frank created multiple classes with his teaching partner specifically for the pandemic so they can nurture their students’ love of learning beyond the classroom and provide safe in person socialization young children need.
He relies on his car to be able to get to his classes and after many expensive, redundant repairs, it’s become clear that he needs to replace his car not only to be able to get to all his classes, but also so he can invest his money into building more classes for his students instead of continually repairing a broken car. So he’s created a GoFundMe to raise money to buy a new car.
He is also selling a large collection of comic books. Attached is a google doc with a full list of all the comics he’s selling right now. They're organized alphabetically by publisher. Feel free to control+f to search for any characters, creators, or stories you might want.
Please share, donate, and buy comics if you can!
