All About A Ginger Dictionary: The Gictionary!...by Smithereens!
For all the words Smithereens feels the need to make up, and their definitions for sufficient comprehension.
Swelping it up
You Harmonious Tiger Lilies were wishing for a new word - so HERE IT IS!!!!!!
SWELP - pronounced Swelp. (Self explanatory. We talked about those brains. Lets use those little cells now!)
Part Of Speech : Um, an... exclamation! It's a word. That you say. I don't know. Hop off.
Definition : A combination of the word "swell" and the word "welp".
In So Many Words: Okay. So you know that friend - the one who tells really bad stories, says pointless things and gets really excited about them? The one who thinks they are hilarious, but don't make a lot of sense? Yeah. So this word is for THEM. When that friend says something really random and pointless that isn't funny at all but cracks them up? You say "swelp" - swell welp! Because saying "welp" might hurt their feelings, or make them feel awkward. And you can't just say "That's swell!" because you want them to know on some level that they are saying awkward random things that aren't funny and they should probably do it less. Therefore? Swelp.
Sentence-ing: "Hey Mardesich! Did you hear Lissy's story earlier? The one that went "So I cleaned my dad's boat. Now it smells like wax, so my dog licked it."? Yeah, It was really uncomfortable so I said "Swelp" and changed the subject."
This word may not seem useful. But trust me. This actually happened to me. I have THAT friend. So the next time YOU are in a this uncomfortable situation?
SWELP. IT. UP.
With Love,
Smithereens
Teach me how to Strawk, Teach me-Teach me how to Strawk...
Welcome Pirate Cats. NEW WORD FOR THE GICTIONARY! Be excited. This is a GOOD ONE.
STRAWK - pronounced "straw-k" (exactly as it sounds. use your brains, kiddos, before the zombies eat them).
Part of Speech: Probably a verb... let's face it, I'm never going to be reliable here.
Definition : (1) The Awkward Stroll (2) The Awkward Strut
In So Many Words: Alright, so this word has two uses. Use 1, the Awkward Stroll. So okay - you know that moment, when you walk through a classroom in the middle of instruction, and you go "oh maybe if I just casually stroll through the back and to my destination and don't make any eye contact, no one will notice me"? The Awkward Stroll is when you do this, and instead of casually strolling and not being noticed, the teacher stops teaching and the entire class turns around in their seats to watch you walk through. Hence - THE STRAWK.
The other use is Use 2, the Awkward Strut. The best way I can describe this? It's the moment when you are walking around somewhere and you think you are alone so you start singing/dancing/laughing/talking to yourself, and suddenly you turn a corner/enter a room/look up to see that you are, in fact, very much not alone and are now being stared at by people who think you are a freak. So you just put your chin up and stick your chest out and strut through the area to safety, all the while acting like you intended them to hear/see you doing whatever you were doing. Hence - THE STRAWK.
Sentence-ing: (1) "So I walked through Means' classroom on my way to Cav's and I thought I could pull off the Casual Stroll, but then it turned into a StRAWK when Means stopped teaching his Underwater Basket Weaving Class and they all watched me instead."
(2) "Wow, Did you hear what happened to Mardesich? She thought she was alone in the stairwell... then when she saw the entire football team standing at the bottom of the steps, she had to STRAWK her way through and play it cool."
Ah, the Strawk. Such glory.

Ginger Defines... ATTRACTIVITY
ATTRACTIVITY - pronounced "a(like 'at' and 'hat' and 'cat') - track-tiv-ih-tee"
Part of Speech - Um... not my strongest suit. Make one up.
Definition: the state/art of being attractive to a ridiculous degree.
In So Many Words: Attractivity is the state of being attractive - unreasonably so. Not cute, not sweet, not even "hawt". SO ABSURDLY ATTRACTIVE THAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE REASONING BEHIND IT. It's used in many ways...
Sentence-ing: The Sarcastic Way - "Wow, Mardesich, that face you just made was the epitome of ATTRACTIVITY."
OR *while staring at Avan Jogia* "His ATTRACTIVITY astounds me."
It's a fine art, attractivity.

NOW INTRODUCING... THE GICTIONARY!
Dear Kittens -
Hello, and welcome to... THE GICTIONARY!!!! "Why, what on earth is this thing you speak of, Crazy Smithereens?" you may ask. Well I will tell you my hearty fellows! Here's the very first definition of the Gictionary... DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!!!
GICTIONARY - (pronounced "Jick-shun-air-ee")
Part of speech: Noun
Definition: The Ginger Dictionary.
In So Many Words: It's like dictionary. But with the beginning of it being ginger. Hence, GICTIONARY. This is the place where all of the many, MANY made-up, shortened, and/or combined words that I use on a daily basis are defined, both in a definition-typ manner AND in the "In So Many Words" way that explains how to use it, why I use it, why you should use it, etc.
Sentence-ing: "Hey Mardesich! You should go check out the GICTIONARY on our Tumblr, cuz I added awesomeness to it!"
So yeah. Gictionary. Read it. Love it. Love ME.
With Love,
Smithereens
