Russell Brand Knew Katy Perry Would Be His Wife The Moment They Met ♥
Russell declared in his book that he knew he'd marry his popstar fiancee from their first date.
On his mission to find true love, the comedian encountered thousands of women, often three or four at a time, for efficiency, he says. Now he's revealed how meeting Katy "changed" him.
A passage from his second autobiography, My Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal, sees him dish on the now-famous incident where Katy threw a bottle at his head during rehearsals for last year's MTV VMAs.
"You'll think it frivolous of me to say I knew I'd marry her on that first date," he wrote.
"The truth is I fell in love with her when she hit me with that bottle.
From the first date, I changed. No more women. Well, actually, thousands of women. I wake up to a different one each day, they're all her.
"She chose me, bottled me and cuffed me. And now this is my life, my girl, this beautiful woman."
He also gushed that, upon teasing Katy for wearing sunglasses indoors during the rehearsal, she replied, "I'm not removing anything I'm wearing around you, I could get herpes." Bam!
