They generally switch! Both of them have some hang-ups that come with being seduction Crows, including some triggers based on past experiences. Gigi and Illario have done some work to balance control and care with one another to avoid having their time together disrupted (after experiencing several disruptions that they both struggled to work through).
In terms of what sort of role they enjoy, Gigi actually prefers being in charge and Illario likes letting the lead go a little bit, so it works out well for the both of them! They just, y'know. Have to do the difficult thing and communicate.

(First) Meeting
Word traveled quickly: a de Riva had come to the Cantori Diamond to train, as a favor between the two Houses. Inter-House trainings were not unheard of, but rare enough to draw interest. Further whispers spurred further interest: that she was the heir of her House and Viago's favorite; that she had once been a twin or that she had once been a boy; that she had killed three fledglings before earning her own feathers; that she ate oranges like nonnas ate candies. Strange things, some of them, but enough to pique the interest of curious Crows who wanted to see what may or may not be true.
Illario Dellamorte was not exempt from curiosity.
She stood out among the Cantoris, not because of any particular difference in appearance—though her blonde hair and her height did make her striking. Next to Andarateia, in particular, the de Riva towered, though it seemed she made an effort to make herself smaller. A peculiar behavior, really, but it did not seem to be born of meekness. She had fire in her eyes, a brilliant wariness, and that was what made her stand out. Crows could be suspicious bastards, all of them, but de Rivas made it into an art. Every person who stepped into her line of sight found themselves subjected to a swift evaluation by those dark eyes.
Illario Dellamorte was not exempt from this, either.

uhhhhh y'all know what i've been working on so BUT the last line was not NSFW (it's two lines i know shhh it's fine)
Giovanna gave Illario a sidelong look, made curious by him not even attempting to open the door himself. She wondered if he had once tried and was thus aware of the biting ward that she had attached to it, keeping anyone from prying into her private quarters. Her palm pressed to the reinforced wood and Giovanna whispered a word to the ward, feeling its claws retract to allow entry.

Honestly, with these two, it's both of them. They're competitive, they're ambitious, they're fiery. They'd end up being some sort of wild celebrity power couple (public drama and all).
21. Most likely to make a scientific or supernatural discovery (or for fun: most likely to accidentally stumble across a scientific/supernatural discovery)
I feel like this is Illario. And it would be supernatural, something completely and utterly unexpected where he'd just turn to Giovanna while she was looking at something else, and be like, "I just caught the loch ness monster on camera" or something ridiculous. And she'd have a very NUH-UH YOU'RE LYING reaction only for both of them to end up staring at the evidence like ????????????
