Vincent and Gil’s entire Thing is deeply homophobic but if either of these characters were women do you understand how intolerably misogynistic Pandora Hearts as a whole would become like at least w the homophobia I feel like it’s kind of not intentional but if either one was a woman it would require someone to be an active vitriolic misogynist

He would be a female character embodying misogynistic tropes#That still kind of suck when a man has them but it's kind of sort of more tolerable#Gil is like#Yeah Gavriel kind of summed it up w like everything abt his character being kinda funny when he's a man but would just veer straight into#Deeply deeply uncomfortable if he were a woman#Vincent's character would become less terrible to think about metatextually but also more terrible to think about#Like I think Gil being a woman would be the number one single change to make to PH to make Vincent completely unsympathetic#But Gil's character would just suck as a woman#Just in every way#In order to write him as a woman you'd have to be completely disconnected from the actual thoughts and feelings of women#And also............................#His entire personality is kind of... built around him being sort of ineffectual and effeminate...#Which is homophobic. Definitely. But Mochijun wants you to like him so so so much she loves him so much#And at least it makes him distinctive#If he were a woman it would be#Oh.
