Now it's my turn to post Rivamika hopium.
So there's an interesting theory about the ending that I wanted to share with you. According to this theory Eren is stuck in a time loop and there are three timelines: one is the manga, one is the anime, and the other one is what happened in Mikasa's dream in 138. Eren keeps time looping because he can't find happiness. This theory is from Tensa on twitter, here's the link of his account if you want to check it out: https://twitter.com/justiceforeren?s=21
So you might be wondering what Rivamika has to do with this, and here I am, ready to share with you what my delusional brain can do 🤡
Remember how we all went crazy when 138 came out because Eren literally looked like Levi in Mikasa's dream? He has Levi's haircut, he is holding a walking stick (Levi is injured so it would make sense for him to use a walking stick) and he is drinking tea (Levi is the biggest tea lover in aot).
Now take a look at this official art:
Mikasa is holding a black jacket with a sweet expression on her face. Levi is the only character in aot that wore that kind of jacket so we can assume that Mikasa is actually holding Levi's jacket (we can consider all official arts canon according to @onigiri-dorkk ‘s theory). Mikasa's outfit in the official art is the same as her outfit in 138: she's wearing the scarf, a long skirt and a cardigan.
My point is that the man we see in Mikasa's dream (one of the three timelines according to Tensa's theory) isn't Eren but Levi, so Rivamika is canon in one of the three universes. I always felt like we were missing something and I finally found out! Now I'm waiting to hear your thoughts!
Ignore grammar mistakes because I'm in a hurry and I'm literally feeling so high rn omgggggg
Hey y’all, I’m not the most active person on earth right now and I’m sorry, but I wanted to remind you that our ship is amazing. It’s completely fine to ship Rivamika even if they aren’t together in the manga; canon doesn’t make a ship beautiful, you don’t have to ship canon couple if you don’t want to. Remember that shipping is meant to be fun, be nice with people from your fandom (and not), and don’t lower yourself to haters’ level by acting toxic.
Rivamika has the most romantic interactions, from Levi breaking his ankle for Mikasa to the “Stay With Me Here”
I freaking hate so much the fact that they keep destroying Mikasa’s character development. It’s like she makes one step forward and three steps back, every single time. The thing I hate the most is that sacrifice her character ( = a lot of potential ) for a couple that wouldn’t have literally anything if it wasn’t for Mikasa. I bet Eremika wouldn’t be so popular if Mikasa had a decent development and actually left Eren alone when she had to do. Lmao another thing I don’t understand is why they wasted what Rivamika had. Such a beautiful relationship that could be beneficial for both, especially Mikasa. I ask you to list all the times she did a step forward in her character development: she was always with Levi. In season 1, when they were fighting against Annie, she learned that her reckless actions could cost someone else’s life. In season 3, she learned to think before doing something and to wait for the right moment, to maintain calm. This is because Levi has something to teach her, because he doesn’t want to see her in danger. Because he cares for her like probably only Armin does (another character who was important to Mikasa’s development was Armin). Levi is the only one that can really understand Mikasa, but in the end they never talked. Why? They are the definition of “So close yet so far”… Literally why don’t they interact more frequently?? I don’t understand why this ship has to be always forgotten. I don’t really understand that…
Sorry for this random vent I just hate everyone
