Cellular Kamikaze

I stood nervously outside her house. Looking in the mirror for the 10th time. Popping another Altoid. Wishing for Xanax. Fixing my SnapBack I had carefully chosen, I finally hear the door open. Frantically jumping into my well practiced, nonchalant, hands in pocket, car leaning pose. Silently reminding myself how careful I need to be. Trying to get the song that’s stuck in… She walks out. Before I can even look at her face I trip as my cells involuntarily kamikaze as they try to fly towards her being. Calm your shit. Keep cool. The seconds it takes for me to return to my now precarious precarious balance point seems to take forever. Coming back to reality not a moment has passed. I hope she didn’t notice. I finally look at her face and she smiling, the smile I forgot was just mine.

Well that’s that. She is it. I suddenly with all calmness whisper to my body as it suddenly becomes all hers.
