I never wanted to be the person you see ,but thank you
Letter To God - Hole
Giulia's. 92 Abercrombie St. Chippendale NSW 2008
First impressions
Large blackboard menu overhanging the counter with hundreds of breakfast and lunch selection to choose from.
Open kitchen - food is prepared right in front of my eyes.
What did I have and enjoyed
Poached eggs, roasted tomatoes, sourdough toast. With extra smoked salmon, sausages and a side of home-made beans.
Love the texture of the sausage meat. I like that it has a bite to it, and not just processed finely.
Generous serving of chunky smoked salmon.
The home-made beans reminded me of the familiar baked beans from a can, but ten times way better! There is a variety of flavors than just plain tomato paste - with a hint of spiciness to it.
Above than average coffee; decent extraction on my skinny flat white. Coffee acidity stood up to the milk.
My breakfast plate was a little steep in price, but then, as the old saying goes, you get for what you pay.
Notable icons
Very relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Somewhat hippy.
Pet dogs chained to the signpost outside the cafe while their owners read their morning papers with a toast and coffee by the window.
Check out the signage on the toilet door!!!
