Well since we are on the topic of toxic people.

I get quiet and ignore people when I get mad or upset. I read all the time about posts with people demanding you speak to them even when you're angry or else they start panicking. Or other posts where they call you (the person doing the ignoring) toxic and harmful. Like, NO.

Full stop -- fuck off. If I am ignoring you, then YOU are toxic to me and I have to clear my headspace and keep my own mental health stable. You don't get to demand my attention or manipulate me under the pretense of your anxiety (or whatever other reason you have, PTSD, clinginess, etc.)

I deserve to have my space. I do not owe it to you to communicate right away when my head isn't thinking straight (and if you're like me with anger that lashes out and destroys; oh boy. I become the most heartless person ever).

I can and will tell you to leave me alone until I feel better or have calmed down but if you don't (and choose to push at me), then I assure you that you will get the ugliest version of me.

Toxicity is a two way street; you don't get to pick and choose which one is the "least harmful" one.
