Un planeta similar a la Tierra se ha encontrado en el observatorio Cerro Tololo en Chile. Zachory K. Berta Thomson, del Instituto de Tecnología de Massachusetts y investigadora astrofísica del Instituto de Astrofísica de Harvard-Smithsonian, y su equipo son los responsables de este hallazgo y han establecido un hito en el conocimiento de los exoplanetas.
