20. What’s something you learned this year? Just a few minutes ago I learned from my husband that if you smooth out the top of sour cream or yogurt in their containers before you seal them back up they won't get that watery layer on the top. Something about gravity XD

2. Sims writing has a visual component. How do you utilize color/objects and settings in your stories? Two things to pay attention for: what colors are associated with whom during what moments; who's wearing clothes vs. who's not. These elements are particularly important for Beau and Marcus, but you'll see it elsewhere, too.

Colors are often shorthand for relationship dynamics (e.g. blue = cold; red = warm; matching = on the same level, etc.).

Clothes vs. no clothes is an indication of vulnerability.

4. What scenes do you find hardest to write? Ones that have heavy impact on later plot points. The first scene that comes to mind is when Nev takes Ruthie to meet Nadia. In my mind, Nadia's not a Bad Mom nor is she particularly cruel, but I wanted her to put pressure on Nev and Ruthie. It was hard, hard, hard to keep the balance between inquisitive and bossy.
