how do u keep your hair so soft and lovely?? i must know its for science

hiya ! i would recommend if u bleach ur hair to do it very sparingly, i only bleach mine once a yr (max 2) coz it messes w my scalp/can make ur hair dry & fragile! i’ve been lucky so far that it’s stayed in the condition it’s in. i’ve only scalp bleached once tho i’m gonna do it again in a couple months but learning 2 love my regrowth has done wonders in terms of keepin my hair healthy 👌🏼coconut oil i’ve found 2 b rly helpful for scalp repair / general hair health so u could try that! i’ve seen some coconut oils specific for hair but i just use a pot from the grocery store n melt it between my fingers n rub it all over my head starting at the scalp n working my way thru the ends. i let it sit for about an hr n then wash it out, it’s very greasy but it works ! 💁🏼if ur dying yr hair with wash out / semi-permanent colours i highly recommend mixing ur dye with conditioner before applying! u can make pastel colours by doin that but if u want a more vibrant colour just add more dye until it’s the colour u want. i use a damage repair conditioner when i dye my hair n i usually let it sit for 30-40 mins so i think that helps keep it soft. i also add hair dye to my regular shampoo/conditioner so i can maintain my colour coz i’ve found the coconut oil makes the colour fade v quickly. brite organix is my fav hair colour brand, it’s treated my hair very kindly 🙏🏼 also any kind of shampoo n conditioner with coconut in it i’ve found to be great too! i rly love herbal essences hello hydration. n if u blow dry it a lot i would use some sort of heat protection spray/oil first (garnier fructis miraculous oil is what i use!) + try not to towel dry if u can! use an old tshirt or something instead it’s a lot more gentle on ur hair ☺️ i’ll post this publicly in case anyone else wants some tips, hope something there helps xx
