On Monday Cara, Fiona and I did another wee look 😀 These amazing ladies jumped in to help me capture my idea for this week's Academy Challenge. My entry this week for the Girl Meets Brush - the ACADEMY challenge is task brief one 'Create A Character that is based on an Idea that has gone WRONG'. (The tasks are set for us each week in line with the BBC Show, Glow Up) ~ How far will we go for our idea of true beauty? Do we really know what we are putting in or on our skin? My look is a twist on animal testing, where the tester is now morphing with the animal - "we become what we absorb". She wanted her idea of true beauty so badly.... would go to any lengths to get it.... but really instead of testing on the animal, she is testing on herself! ~ This was my first time ever using prosthetics and well there is nothing like jumping in at the deep end! I made the whole piece from scratch using latex, scar wax with some padding underneath. I couldn't have done this without a bagful of encouragement and guidance from Cara and Fiona.
