Just a reminder: Windows 10 end of support is October 14th. If your PC/laptop doesn't have a processor with a TPM 2.0 chip, or a CPU from a way too small comparability list, it won't be officially be able to run Windows 11.

Please, instead of throwing away your good computer try out a Linux Distro, for real. The amount of ewaste this is causing is too much. Companies have started throwing away a lot of PCs because they can't run Windows 11, be it because they aren't supported or because Windows 11 makes them insanely slow.

For the sake of the environment, your wallet and your freedom (and no ads) try installing a Linux Distro. Try with a spare PC first if you aren't that confident, but save your perfectly good machines.

I love how much programming languages are real languages in the way they work. I was taking to my dad about how I'd seen something written in Python in a way I wasn't expecting and he told me that a lot of times, the Python we see is written by second language programmers who are writing Python like it's Java.

The programmers are writing Python with a Java grammatical structure. They have a damn accent that makes it so people know which is your main programming language. That's amazing.

Translation is so fun because sometimes you'll see someone use a word to translate that you think "Yeah, I mean, it can technically mean that" but in context it gives an entirely different vibe.

I just saw two versions of a text, one in English and the other in Spanish, about what I believe to be a medical device.

In English it said "The patients feel self-conscious wearing the device".

The Spanish it said "Los pacientes se sienten ridículos con el dispositivo " (The patients felt ridiculous wearing the device).

There's a difference. In English it sounds like the patients felt a bit uncomfortable. In Spanish it feels like they felt like a CLOWN which is cracking me up.

I will say, I'm not sure which text is the source text so I don't know which interpretation was intended, but I found the dichotomy quite humorous.

Grian and Scar acting suspicious on purpose in front of Tango, making use of the fact everyone already thinks they act like 5 year olds, to hide an actual shady plan is both hilarious, smart and surprisingly adorable because Tango really does treat them like a preschool teachers dealing with two idiot kids.
