I have a LOT of thoughts about the SOTR trailer but immediately THIS!!

THE SHOWGIRLS

This reinforced my own little personal headcanon about girls from the districts (specifically One!!) growing up wanting to ‘perform’ in the Capitol, in this kind of capacity.

These showgirls are NOT Capitol citizens, no well bred Capitol child would grow up wanting to perform for entertainment, as that’s what they believe District kids do for them.

Also note no dyed skin/crazy hair color.. or anything that would mark them as Capitol…

These are D1 girls who didn’t make it into the Games and instead chose to go down the route of becoming a performer to get into the Capitol and you CANNOT convince me otherwise.

This is what Cashmere/Glimmer’s backup would’ve been. This is what those pretty D1 girls aspire to be if they can’t be a Victor!!
