“Ladadadadada-dadada everything’s okay!” - He's probably freaking out over something small, that in all aspects, should not be freaked out over on such a level.
Dream looked at Ether, as he seemed to be freaking out. But over what, he wasn’t sure, and if he really thought about it, it probably wasn’t that bad of a thing.
But this was Ether.

Sleep was such a wonderful thing. It allowed him to rest, and be with his lover, snuggled closely like this. He didn’t seem to notice that he had ended up as the big spoon, somehow. Well, not like he minded, as he nuzzled into the back of Ether’s head lightly, purring quietly.
He felt him stir, and he grunted softly, not even aware of the small distortion in his voice. He was still too sleepy.
Well, until he felt Ether move and talk to him in a somewhat panicky voice. He grunted softly, eye sockets fluttering open, as he glanced over to the skele--.
Wait.
That was his face staring back at him. He sat up, now fully awake, mind reeling. What the heck had happened.

Dream wheezed softly, woken up by a distant voice, and hands on his shoulders. He opened his sockets, vision hazy from the tears that had pooled in them. He could make out Ether’s shape in the darkness. He took a moment to catch his breath, as he looked around their bedroom.
Oh.
He wasn’t...
He took a deep breath, hands moving up to rest onto Ether’s and giving him a watery smile. He opened up his mouth to speak, only to have one of his fiance’s finger to press over his teeth while he made a shushing noise.
It wasn’t long before Ether was snuggling Dream, murmuring comforting words to the shorter skeleton. It helped calm him down, and soon enough, Dream was starting to doze, snuggled into Ether.
Dream blinked, tilting his head to the side lightly. He looked at Ether’s pile of rolled up paper, before frowning lightly. Well now, that just wouldn’t do. The short skeleton huffed, moving to the other skeleton and dumping on him, bags after bags of all the qualities and why Ether deserved love.

Dream giggled softly, arms wrapping around Ether’s neck. He smiled up at him, as he smooched over all of the freckles he could. he simply enjoyed making him smile, really.

Dream purred when the kisses were returned and nuzzled into Ether’s sternum with a giggle. He embraced the skeleton and looked up at him, still sleepy. A lazy smile graced his teeth.

He traced a lazy pattern on his arm with his finger.
