Last we see of her and him.
I like how the Dabney Techs act like rivals but in the end show themselves to be complete nice and reasonable.
The fact Miko can mess with her hair so easily.
Backrooms Doodle (Deltarune-esque style)
Honestly always headcanon Mitch hating MIKO far more than Five. Reasons- 1. Miko is the catalyst for why the series happens. 2. Mitch would of won but Miko and Five sabatoge this during the competition. 3. Miko lack of being affected by the memory wipe allowed her to redevous with Five to restore his memory. 4. The image above stopped Mitch from getting away with again when he triedwiping Five's mind. 5. Heh, Five at least tries to be reasonable with Mitch even if he barely likes him, Miko doesn't. 6. Miko tend to accidentally or purposely get in his way. 7. Miko is VERY similar to Mitch insecurities she just was much more nicer or at least didn't have Hinobi change her either having enough of a sense of self not to allow this.
Yeah, even though its clear Bolypius and Miko are SEPERATE beings the idea of her carrying the monster in her is a cool idea like either Miko being the good side of the being or simple the vessel with its sealed inside her.
I remember the beta concepts of Miko joining after Five did and Five slowly coming to like Miko instead of them instantly being friends that was something else.
Bolypius is such a strange villain when you consider its motives. Canonically, it started as a simple chess AI before evolving into a powerful entity capable of controlling pixels, summoning glitches, and permanently affecting the consoles and energies of Hinobi’s company. Why it is doing all this remains a mystery to me, and why it specifically needs Miko is equally odd.
What we do know is that Bolypius is extremely elusive. It has affected all of Hinobi’s consoles to summon glitches and presumably possesses abilities similar to the glitches it creates, such as possession. The original Polybius urban legend describes players suffering from addiction, amnesia, night terrors, seizures, and hallucinations. Players reportedly became immediately addicted, entering hypnotic or trance-like states. Other severe side effects included chronic insomnia, vivid nightmares, nausea, intense migraines, anxiety, panic attacks, paranoia, and, in extreme cases, epileptic seizures triggered by the game’s fast-paced, psychedelic, and strobe-like visuals. Some even displayed aggressive behavior or suicidal tendencies. Rumors also suggested the game used subliminal messaging to influence players’ minds.
These effects bear a striking resemblance to Hinobi’s mind wipes and glitch phenomena. It’s possible that the technology Hinobi built to contain glitches was either based on Bolypius or directly connected to it, which could explain why Bolypius shut down the gauntlets. Despite having enough power to send Earth into chaos and expose Hinobi’s secrets, Bolypius keeps a very low profile. Hinobi, in turn, keeps its existence secret from rookies like Miko and Five.
Interestingly, Bolypius seems particularly interested in Miko, who possesses lucid dreaming abilities. The original Polybius legend caused dream-like effects such as nightmares and subliminal influences, which parallels Miko’s lucid dreaming. Milano also mentioned that there is a bigger and more important reason for Miko’s immunity to mind wipes, but the explanation was kept secret during the stream to avoid spoilers. However, during one blocked moment, a series of random numbers flashed on screen for a second. Fans decoded the message, which spelled out: “What is a lucid streamer?” This could be directly connected to the true reason behind Miko’s immunity, as we still don’t fully understand the term. It appears to be a play on “lucid dreamer.”
The fact that other people like Miko are implied to exist suggests Bolypius may be targeting them for some specific purpose. SMN seems to be one such person as well. Why it is so focused on Miko in particular is unclear—perhaps she is a rare case where the effect was forced on her in combination with Hinobi’s technology, especially since her abilities only manifested after she bonked her head on the wall.
In short, here’s what we know:
Bolypius has glitched all of Hinobi’s consoles and games, which appear to be connected to pixels.
Hinobi’s technology seems to be based on or connected to Bolypius.
Bolypius is after Miko, who is a “lucid streamer” and is implied to be the one who can stop it.
With Barbara implied to be Bolypius in disguise, it appears to be keeping a close eye on both Miko and Hinobi.
