A trail of deep red droplets, blood presumably, lead passed the dumpster in the alley to the owner of the blood. That owner being Zwei, who was already using his jacket as a makeshift bandage.
By the looks of things, he had gotten into a fight. His left eye was bruised, his nose bleeding a bit but not as much as his left forearm which had a nasty looking cut that was partially hidden by his jacket. However the cut wasn’t as bad as it looked, most of the blood on his arm and wrist had dried.
Too focused on tending to the cut, the teen wouldn’t notice anyone unless addressed first.
The sight of blood wasn’t what lured Dingo towards that alley in the first place. The boy was quite obviously lost, desperately looking for his current customer. When he found the trail of blood droplets, he had to follow it, if only to check that there wasn’t a dead body waiting at the end of it.
Dingo didn’t find a corpse, much to his relief, but that relief didn’t last. The moment he recognized the silhouette, he dropped his delivery box, and rushed to the other boy’s side.
“Zwei, what are you doing here ?! What happened to you ?” Dingo yelled, trying his best not to panic. He dug a piece of cloth out of his shorts’ pocket, and immediately hande it to Zwei. “You’ve gotta tie something tightly around the wound, so it stopped bleeding ! And then I’m taking you to the hospital !”
