The lengths he goes to for some components was sometimes a little concerning. But, if it took angering a particularly hungry looking owlbear in the ruins of an old village to get what he needed well--that’s usually what teleportation was for.
He didn’t, however, expect this creature to go barreling into a partially collapsed wall with almost comical timing. He didn’t expect to see a dazzlingly colorful woman grinning at him. Maybe, that’s why he asked the rather obvious question.
“Well, it was certainly amusing, stranger, if nothing else.”
He catches up with his breaths, seeing the creature struggling to stand with grease matting its fur. He creates more space, meeting with the smaller woman while pulling a carefully maintained cocoon from his pouch. He spies the metal, “Do you plan on “not casting” something else or will I be turning this thing into a mouse?”
