...he was seated at the end of the bar on a beaten up, old mahogany stool, catching a glimpse of patrons as they walked in at 2:30 in the afternoon. as he turned back to down a swig of his straight up on the rocks, she walked in. his peripheral vision caught a glimpse of what he thought was an angel. shaking his head from side to side while batting his eyes, he hoped that what he had just seen was true. in fact, he had seen many things, as his alcohol soaked mind constantly played tricks on him. but this was no trick. an angel had in fact walked in. he felt that this moment was different... she was different. there was a certain tranquility & glow about her that he simply couldn’t shake. after all, she had just walked into the Glo-Room. how appropriate, he thought.
