so tomorrow the site is officially a bell end

i meant to make this post sooner but ive been pretty low spoons & sick on & off (plus i dont have many followers that dont already know where i am elsewhere anyway so it probably doesnt matter BUT on the offhand someone ends up wondering here it is late but not entirely forgotten)

this site has been very weird & crazy for the like 8(?) years ive been around on it using various names & it feels even weirder to say good bye for a lot of reasons im too tired to bother putting here

i never actually LIKED this site or the culture that arose but like

it was still a home & it provided a lot of things other social media sites dint & still dont & i hesitate to say that any others will ever manage quite the same (for good or ill)

also like... theres no way to turn off my queue? & i have 115 posts left in it not including reminders of where to find me

theres no way im manually deleting all that either so i guess enjoy 116 days of outdated/old content after im gone lol

took an unintended hiatus the last little while partially due to some real life things & partially because of increasing annoyances with my need to be on a pc (not that feasible for me most of the time) in order to post & fill my queue up vs mobile (which is what i use 99% of the time)

im hoping that maybe with saving up enough & holiday sales we can score some random cheap netbook in the future or something like mr am did so i dont have to keep writing on my phone all the time (& thus in the process solve this ridiculous self made dilemma lmao) or at the least get some parts to try and fix the netbook that got sent to me by a friend & promptly sputtered out

but in the meantime

im probably... going to break down & download the stupid app on my phone even though i absolutely loathe using it

ive been making a lot of strides in writing more day to day at least in spite of all my setbacks so theres that

so my good buddy @vorpse pointed out an old post of mine (& im an idiot for not even noticing when i reblogged it at the time) that dint even link back to the actual artist which couldve been a LOT of exposure for them they definitely deserve

im a nobody but heres me passing on in an attempt to try & fix that a little

if any of yall remember those creative madagascar gijinkas floating around, that was a bunch of art done by a talented artist named tamara petrosyan/crazytom

& apparently was ripped from their other media sites (non english) & scattered across pinterest & then screenshotted & filtered through across tumblr (as is.. habitual on this hellhole of a site lol)

their tumblr is linked above & their actual.. i think its a russian version of instagram? is here (but seems to not have been updated in some years)

they are SO AMAZING & prolific at what they do, please go visit the actual artist & enjoy their work where it belongs if you have some time! im removing the reblog i had up while im at it

- song stuck in my head: im pretty hard of hearing so its less songs that get stuck in my head usually & more muffled misheard pieces of incomprehensible garbage + snatches of lyrics mashed together on endless loop that dont belong together from memorising them; sometimes bits from say counting stars + whatever my partner listens to in the car... which is more often than not some sort of nightcore & thats REALLY weird to have as ear worms

- time: 3:45 pm

- top three shows: i am really bad at these favourite things im doing what mr am did & listing most recent shows i watched instead--the good place, castlevania (netflix), sabrina the teenaged witch (original)

- books I’m currently reading: animorphs

- last thing i googled: patrick stuart

- how many blankets do you sleep with: anywhere from two comforters & one hospital knitted blanket to nothing depending on how often i overheat & kick everything off

- dream trip: ive always wanted to go to ireland and japan as BigTM out of country places but i also just want to go back to where my parents live & visit a while too i miss them a lot as much as where i grew up (even as i know thats dumb rose tinted glasses made up of time & distance & i hated living there/fought desperately to get away the whole time my relationship is different with them now & i guess i kind of want to make new memories with them & being there)

- anything you really want: like mr am everything i super want is out of reach with the way things are right now; small(er) things i guess would be a laptop to write with or for it to stop all this shitty rainy weather & to be successful in my nano endeavors this month

oh yeah i completely forgot to post this the other day

stuff from the hole in the wall anime shop we found; my partner bought me the keychain for my bag and an 8 pack of posters because i couldnt decide on one and it was frankly cheaper that way

ill probably end up giving the rest away because friends could use cheering up BUT im admiring them for now while i decide

im so happy to finally have some actual merchandise!!!

now if i could just get my hands on that plush that got released recently :’) yeah right
