TOMB RAIDER III: THE ADVENTURES OF LARA CROFT FAN REMAKE

I am probably the last person on Earth that has found out about this but still…! Write down name Heckler because we’re going to hear a lot about him!

Some people in this fandom are pure jewels, really. Not only we have Nicobass’ TR II: The Dagger of Xian remake going on but there is also another TR classic remade by a fan, and let me just say IT’S FUCKING AMAZING! This is probably the only time I regret not going to TRF regularly because to find out about these projects is just heartwarming. Heckler informed the TR fanbase about his project only recently, one month ago, despite having been working on this since 2014. Apart from classic features we are used to in classic TR games, there are new ones implemented: certain moves, abilities and …. riding a horse.

Moreover, at the start of the game we can select and then play with Lara of our own choice! There are 5 Lara models, three of them are classic ones, and each one of them has tailor made TR3 outfits. There are also unlockables and colour customization available. The best thing that makes me totally lose it is that one of those Laras is AOD Lara. LOOK AT HER!!!!! if only Kurtis could see her like that *heart eyes*

Last but not least, Heckler works as a sound engineer so he’s been remaking music and sounds for this game remake. And here’s a teaser:

In an interview with Core-Design.com he has stated that

‘‘…the basic game is finished. All that is left to do is the optimization, extra cutscenes, the extra modes and the flashback section which you’ll be playing as Stephen Barr. To put a number on it I’d say I’m 70-75% finished and still stand by my Christmas release date.’’

P.S. One of my big wishes has always been to see and play AoD Lara in classic Croft Manor. And Heckler, as it seems, has turned this wish into reality:
