Heeey it's retail anon, I wanted to say thank you for your post bc that fucker came in again yesterday except this time I got to imagine Ghost wrecking his shit, so TY ❤️🔥
it's easier to smile and nod while imagining tf141 justice smiting him
Yay, glad you liked it! I feel this. Sometimes I imagine one of my crushes is picking me up from the office, and all the terrible coworkers try to figure out who that hot beefcake is.
Just to give a quick overview:
Simon Ghost Riley, showing up at the reception, asking for you, urgently. Everyone is very disturbed, wild rumours spreading like wildfire, because they assume he is there to arrest you or something. They don't tell you his name and you are worried that something happened to Simon on a mission, so when you see him, you are so relieved and ask what he is doing here, at your work.
"Got back early, made reservations. Thought I better pick you up."
Nobody stops you from leaving for the day.
Bucky Barnes just casually shows up the time you usually get off work, leaning against his bike. He doesn't talk, just observes and waits, but when you come outside, he immediately pulls you in for a kiss and then hands you a second helmet. You don't explain anything about him the next day, just that he's your boyfriend.
Johnny Soap MacTavish randomly drops by in the middle of the day, because he missed you. He would love to just hang out, sadly he is not allowed. Because "no dogs at the office". Basically he is too distracting but he comes back later to pick you up, fast food already waiting in the car.
Loki doesn't pick you up. He manipulates your calendar so you have an important meeting and takes you to a secret spot.
Venom/Eddie want to know where you work. Eddie knows it's boring office stuff, Venom has a thousand questions, most importantly "Why are you wasting time here, we could have fun instead"
John Price is very polite at the reception desk, asks to let you know that your husband is there. You are not married. Not officially. It's just a formality. And you don't correct anyone when they congratulate you. At least your slimy supervisor is more respectful now, probably because Price shook his hand a bit too long with a grin that doesn't reach his eyes.
Steve Rogers causes a bit of commotion, he tries to be nice but you see the relief in his eyes, when you show up. He is invited to the official Christmas party. You decline, before he can be polite. You have plans. And once you are by his side he ignores everyone else anyways.
Yelena just pops up at your desk, how did she get in? You don't care, because having your girl on your lap, telling you how boring the day was and that you need to fix that is the best thing that happened this week. You pick up Bob on the way out, who was sitting awkwardly in the waiting area, too shy to come up, grabbing your hand immediately.
