Since Acey showed one of the Metal Hammer pages from the tribute which mentions it, I guess I can say some details. It stings a bit. There was meant to be a Murderdolls reunion tour with the original members. It may be still happening in 2023, originally it was meant for 2022 for the 20th anniversary of Beyond The Valley of the Murderdolls.
Joey was meant to be there too, he'd confirmed it. They'd booked dates and everything seemed pretty set. But of course, unfortunately Joey passed away and Wednesday's own tour was pushed back to 2022.
So who knows if it's still going to happen, I hope they do
Sorry to be less calm but whoever is reblogging/sharing/whatever that transcript of Joey’s 911 Call you need to fucking take it down and be ashamed of yourself. You’re exposing so many people to information they didn’t want to know what the fuck is wrong with you.
I’m about to rant: I literally hated the fact that the 911 call got “leaked” and like people uploaded it to YouTube and then somebody linked it here on tumblr in the tag. It’s a huge invasion of privacy and what happened is none of our business. It just absolutely bothers me to no end how disrespectful people were about what happened to Joey. To straight up ignore the family’s wishes for privacy to make some money is messed up.
SAME. Not naming names, but there was a blog who posted the link, in the tag (as you said) and then when confronted went 'Curate your own online experience' and blaming OTHERS for what they posted?? Like what the fuck?? YOU posted it! Thats on YOU! Why the fuck were you even sharing it?? No offense but if you're sharing such a moment, such a traumatic, private moment when the family said not too- you're not a fan. End of.
I feel if that 911 call had never been shared, this would be a lot better. Because ignorance really is bliss sometimes, and this is one of those times. Unfortunately they can't even take it down or be sued because legally 911 calls are public domain and can be used publically.
