With a name like Hero Fisher (Yes, it’s really her name), it’s rather appropriate that her latest video for ‘I Let Love’ takes us under the sea...

In it, a cute little donkey marionette gets to enjoy a day at the beach and at the aquarium, the track itself a captivating ode to moody, sluggish alt-rock. Who knew donkeys loved the water so much?

The British-born, French-raised singer says about the track via press release:

‘I wanted to write a song where the focus jumped from person to person, like a contagion. The idea was that each verse would be an ordinary “day in the life of” each character, and that whatever was going on was a banal and daily grind. Each character would be possessed with this spirit, making them push on through, and shake off their demons.’

Fisher has risen to incredible heights in just a few short years, so far collaborating with Alison Mosshart and Boy George on the Mark Ronson-scored ballet Carbon Life, as well as opened for The Rolling Stones and Neil Young at Hyde Park and was even shortlisted for the 2014 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Prize. She then went on to release the critically-acclaimed debut album Delivery in 2015, which won over the likes of The Horrors and Blur. Now with Album No.2 on the way, Hero Fisher might just be letting in a whole lot more love...
