I give you therefore: airport security AU!

Arthur is the inappropriately talkative agent that greets every single person in the queue and confuses everyone with his cheerfulness

Douglas as that one agent who secretly stashes away the more valuable confiscated items from the bin and resells them on eBay

Martin as the uptight reader of the X-Ray machine who keeps confusing various personal items with dangerous weaponry (”it’s not a sex toy, it’s a CLUB”) ((”a VIBRATING club?”))

Carolyn as the head TSA agent who is always polite but God forbid you get on her bad side because she will hand you over to the mercy of the national security with a smile on her face o___O

OMFG that last fic!!!!!!! I cried, it was amazing. I am such a sucker for angst, I need it in my life. I was wondering if you could show us johns PoV during the letter! I'm so wanting to get into his headspace and double the angst I guess, haha. If not, I totally understand, I'll just continue to reread this glorious fic you have bestowed upon us. *flails*

Omg, did you really cry???? :))))))) That's so cool! It means so much to me to know that it got to you that way! 

I probably wouldn't write just a single scene of John POV - I would have to redo the whole story, rather, and while I have done that on occasion (Honour vs. Home, for instance, to show John's side in answer to Mary's in Stand-in), I generally prefer not to. I write from a closer POV, which means that you're allowed to go further into the POV character's thoughts and inner narrative (though not as deeply as if you wrote from first person POV), but the closer you go to one, the less you can see of anyone else's - it's all filtered through the POV character's perceptions. But that's also sort of the beauty of it - we only get Sherlock's experience of it, but we get it more intensely. :)

I have no idea how I say your URL. My brain does this thing from when I was young where if I don't understand how to say it I just recognise the word and skip over it. So in Seattle I'll call you Kim I guess, haha

Random fact! a few of my fingers are naturally crooked, but since the most noticeable one is my left middle finger, any conversation about it usually ends with me flipping people off (usually by accident lol)

I have really curled toes and I recently had an operation to straighten them so hopefully I won't have to deal with crooked toes anymore :P I'm still on crutches with bandages on my feet atm though
