Around 11,000 years ago the construction of the Temenoi ceremonial structure at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey is begun, this is the oldest known proto-religious site on Earth. Around 10,500 cattle are domesticated while at 10,000 years ago the last of the giant ice age mega-fauna dies off.
