I don’t have a problem with larger age gaps bc they are common in real life but they have to be adults. Grown adults. AN AGE GAP WHERE THE GIRL IS A HIGH SCHOOLER IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE! ITS ILLEGAL! ITS PREDATORY! When you understand why it’s done. It’s not cute. Its a predatory male fantasy. Its that disgusting narrative of ‘little girl” “theyre innocent’ “pure” “don’t know anyone else” “ONLY ME” “never been touched“ it’s disturbing. It’s never okay to look at a child in a romantic way. High school is still a child. No child is ‘mature’. This goes for underage boys too! It’s less done and not as normalized but equally disturbing.
