Starting work on a painting of Jame from the Kencyrath series :)
Canden: I don't really have friends.
Dally: Those are bold words from someone within hugging range.
Solemnly, they drank to the health of the newborn god in rainwater from cupped hands.
Chapter 11: The Storm Breaks, God Stalk by PC Hodgell
Jame: The only time you seem honest is when you're insulting someone!
Sirdan Theocandi: The only honest things I can say to you are insults.
i was put on this planet to do one thing. luckily i forgot what it was so i can do whatever i want.

Your Irregularly Scheduled Programming...
I’m gonna level with you here, dear readers: the next episode, Chapter 13 of God Stalk, is gonna be late. It just is. I tried to pull it out but it’s gonna be a week late. I went from working one or two eight hour shifts a week to regularly working ten hours, four days a week, with a three hour commute time each of those days, and this very hefty episode has been the casualty of me flailing to adjust to that schedule change. That being said, it’s a great episode full of (frankly) chaos and carnage, and Mom and I are really excited to share it with you! It’s just going to take a bit longer than I’d hoped.
Based on my newly acquired schedule of “thirteen hour days when things go well,” we may be re-evaluating our posting schedule when we start Dark of the Moon. On the one hand, I’d be sad to move to an every-other-week schedule because I live to rattle on about the Kencyrath and having an excuse to do it weekly is delightful. On the other hand...ya boy needs sleep, and napping in the ambulance during a shift is strongly discouraged. So we’re going to discuss that, and see what we end up figuring out, once we’ve finished God Stalk.
We’ll keep you updated on developments, my apologies for the delay on Chapter 13, and thank you so much for your patience!
On this surprisingly long episode, join us for the set up of...everything, really. From questionable elections to stable fires, godly resurrections and fights in the Lower Town, this is the last chapter before things get conclusive and Jame, as ever, is eyeball deep in all of it.
We’re back! And just as excited about the finer points of Tai-tastigon politics and history as ever.
Thank you all so much for your patience with our missing a week, my voice is back and I appreciate the break to recover. Enjoy!
