God’s truth is like..
It is like that with us with God’s truth. Even as adults many have barely studied His word to come to know Him through Christ as He intends, and yet each facet of truth fits together flawlessly and, is supported entirely by each other facet of truth. God is entirely consistent and even-handed. When He says no, He means no. When He says yes, He means yes. He rules in or out nothing but for His ultimate will and for our blessing and is entirely consistent. We must realise, as adults, we can be like children to come to know a new truth that we have never before realised.
If you look beyond the edges of what is given (the Bible) you see the same rules continue in their application throughout all of life. Even as it is possible to make a Sudoku grid by adjoining many puzzles, it is only necessary to define rules for where two puzzles interact, everything is consistent by God’s divine will nonetheless. All rules and all responses are without variance to His divine nature.
So do not try and solve a Sudoku to get nearer to God, pick up the Bible and read something of Christ’s story, the outworking of God’s will and the application of law. He desires for us to draw nearer unto Him and has sent an olive branch in Christ where we can know forgiveness for our shortcomings, in fact, where He has always shepherded His people under Christ.
